Considered an important cultural landmark in San Pedro, this museum is registered on the National Register of Historic Places.
This historic Greek Revival home built in 1864 used to be the residence of the founder of the city of Wilmington, Phineas Banning, who was also hailed as the “Father of the Port of Los Angeles.”
Preserved and renovated over the years, this museum aims to educate visitors on how life was in the 19th century, from the fashion and furniture to how Victorians entertained visitors.
Founded in 1988, this unique museum features The Lindner Collection of Antique Printing Machinery, which paints a picture of how printing and production used to be during the 1850’s and beyond. Point Vicente Interpretive Museum

The museum also has beautiful grounds perfect for picnics, sightseeing and leisurely walks.
Drum Barracks Civil War Museum
This museum found in Wilmington focuses on preserving the history of the American Civil War and California’s role in the conflict. Here, you’ll find authentic memorabilia, educational resources and a library filled with valuable historic resources that tell the tale of this crucial period in American History.
Formerly called the Joslyn Fine Arts Gallery, the Torrance Art Museum features artists from all over the world with a special focus on those from Southern California. The museum also offers classes, lectures, and other programs where locals can get involved and creative. Best of all, admission is free!
